Where Is One Of God's Favorite Places?

Our Praises.

Enjoying our praise is one of His favorite places to be. One of the Bible's most reassuring promises is found in Psalm 21:3, which says that God inhabits the praise of His people. We can be confident that when we praise God, when we commend Him, when we express our esteem for Him, His presence is there.

So come closer to God. Adore Him. Thank Him. Praise Him. Celebrate Him. Talk to Him. Sing to Him. Or lift your eyes toward Heaven and simply smile at Him. Worship Him in whatever way best expresses what's in your heart. He will surely be there with you.

Travel Light

Jesus taught His followers to travel light, to take with them only what they need for their journey. Only the mind set on things above will have a life of peace and faith, so refuse to become distracted by the glitter of shiny things. Because the light of God's divine love is so brilliant that it makes everything else pale in comparison.
The excess baggage of materialism always makes the journey more difficult.
"Idaho here we come!"

Just Another Ordinary Day :))

Feeling goofy!!! :D

What Are You? A Container Or A Conduit?

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38 NIV). The Christian who shares with others the blessings of Christ will desire and will receive more for himself and more to share to others.

Don't worry about running out. Remember, we can never exhaust the blessings of God because God is infinite. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7, 8 NIV).

A container can hold only so much, but a conduit can continue to receive because it passes on what it receives. What are you?

Is There Anything Left We Can Trust?

In these morally challenged times - when billions are embezzled through corporate fraud; when trusted, spiritual leaders prove false; when lying in politics seems to be the norm; when those you depend on the most often hurt you the deepest - is there anything left you can trust? Yes! You can fully trust the Bible! Why?

The Bible is not a collection of men's ideas. Its writers were guided by the Holy Ghost.

The Bible says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God." 2 Timothy 3:16. "Prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." 2 Peter 1:21. "The scripture cannot be broken." John 10:35.

Answer: It claims to be inspired. It was written by men who were guided by the Holy Ghost. It cannot be broken or proved untrue.

Understanding God's Peace

What exactly is this peace that God's Spirit gives? Many people think of peace as the absence of problems, as the feeling when all is well. But the peace of The Lord is not related to circumstances at all. God's peace comes to us and endures regardless of life's circumstances.

Our peace has nothing to do with our daily challenges, or crisis, or conditions of our life, but knowing we have the right relationship with God. It has everything to do with knowing that our times are in God's hands, that God is all-sufficient, and acknowledging that God will supply our every need as well as acknowledging His constant presence.

God is omnipresent and therefore fully aware of every detail of our life, at every moment and in every place. He knows our needs, at all times and in every situation. (Ps 139:7-12)

Our peace is an inward repose and serenity of soul that indicates a heart at rest, regardless of our circumstances, as WE PLACE COMPLETE CONFIDENCE IN GOD minute by minute. True spiritual peace comes with knowing that our Heavenly Father is continually with us, and indeed He is!

Psalm 139:7-12 NIV
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to You; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to You.

Is It Christmas Yet?

I woke up "earlier" than usual (8:00 AM) today. It's still early for me cuz I usually get out of bed at 10:30. Somehow, I was hoping it was Christmas already...but later I realized I should be thankful for today. God has given us another day, He has renewed our strength last night while we were sleeping for another day's work.

"Thank You Lord!"

I'm just excited for Christmas seasons...cold climate, to visit higher grounds to see the snow..make snow man, snow angel, sled...people tend to be more cheerful, hopeful and happier...oh, and I won't forget the Christmas songs. Yesterday at work, I noticed myself humming a Christmas song and it made me feel lighter and rejuvenated :D

Here's a photo taken last Christmas...
